On Europe Day, Kirovohrad youth looked for the Keys to Sustainable Development


On 20 May 2016 the quest "Ukraine United. Sustainable Development Goals" took place in Kovalivskyi Park of Kirovohrad. During the quest 200 participants were getting to know the global goals of the modern world’s development.

Quest organizers were leaders and the head of Kirovohrad Euroclubs Council at the Regional Center for Children and Youth, Youth NGO “Center".

During the quest about 200 young people - active members of Kirovohrad and region’s Euroclubs and youth organizations were able to explore different stations and familiarize themselves with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The quest was held as part of the celebration of Europe Day in Kirovohrad region. Partners involved in organizing the quest included the Kirovohrad Regional Center for Children and Youth, Department of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, U.S. Peace Corps volunteers in Ukraine.

The final detailed planning of the quest took place two days before, on May 18, at a meeting of active young people - leaders of European clubs of Kirovohrad and youth NGO "Center".
